We welcome you to the 2nd edition of Daadihiye bulletin. It has been another productive and inspiring month for us interacting with communities to better understand how they can participate in building accountable government systems. In this edition, Daadihiye highlights the key findings on the interaction between residents of Mogadishu and the
local government. The findings will offer important lessons for policymakers and practitioners as they seek to build stronger and more inclusive communities and foster sustainable development.
Daadihiye is a citizen engagement platform funded by RAAGSAN, a local social enterprise that amplifies local citizens’ voices and gives them a seat at the decision-making table to ensure programs and policies are grounded in the everyday realities of Somali communities.
